Rose DesRochers, a so called internet guru/Shawn DesRochers a profess internet engineer. How do they make a living. Being a writer or hosting other sites?

Rose only tried to remove her posts from this website. She removed her post yesterday to log in today and have them put back by you scrub and now you post that she has been banned for abuse.

There was no abuse here. These are her posts and she removed them. Also you have restored the links to articles that has she written. If you are going to remove her, do you not think you should remove any content that she has added to this website?

How do I know because I am Rose. Now please remove my posts and I wish you success with your website.

Rose has no rights to remove posts once they have been restored by Scrub. Besides, my interaction and observation of Rose behavior on www.scam.com has been confrontational. I don't need this around here.

My name is Graham Cook.

I am the founder and owner of www.writersworld.co.uk

For over six long years I have worked to build the most ethical, legal, fairest, kindest print on demand book publishing company in the world, which I feel I have done and which is evidenced by the various household corporate names that want to buy my company which is not up for sale at any price (as is clearly stated on are About Us button). Amongst all else our clients get their own ISBN number and buy their books at print cost and get 100% of their royalties.

About 18 months ago I approached the DesRochers to build a mini website system for our authors which would have been on their servers in Canada or wherever they are located. After a while I became concerned about their changing the rules and their conduct and attitude so I pulled the plug. As it turned out this was the best decision I have made in the history of my company which is evidenced by their subsequent irresponsible conduct. Had we not discontinued with our business relationship with the DesRochers, life would have become a nightmare with our clients’ mini websites on their servers and at their mercy along with us.

The hypocrisy of the DesRochers is simply stunning. Through their website www.invision-graphics.com they have set themselves up as the arch proponents of website copying or plagerising while at the same they were working hand in hand with one of their cohorts - a Mrs Shahida Rahman to try and destroy my company, their cohort Mrs Shahida Rahman was operating a plagiarised version of www.writersworld.co.uk from a computer belonging to us she refused to return. The DesRochers have sat in Canada thinking they are immune from us commencing litigation against them due to the logistics of them being in Canada and the expense of protracted litigation in far-off shores. Well, they are about to have the tables turned on them. The United Kingdom and Canada are signatories to various treaties allowing us to sue in the English High Court for libel and defamation etc which mean if they do not defend against our action, the resulting judgment will be as enforceable as if it were obtained in their local court. As amongst all else they have falsely alleged I am involved in criminal activity I am entitled to what is known as Damagers Per Se which is a minimum of £100, 000.00 plus costs. Why is English High Court the proper venue? Because the UK is the predominant place of business for WRITERSWORLD and the intent was to damage us here, and all the key witnesses are here.

Added to this, the DesRochers have another problem resultant from a landmark case that has just come down in the English Courts wherein which chatrooms etc, the hosting company and website are now held as liable as the person doing the posting itself. Now we will be naming as co-defendants all persons and entities who have posted or repeated the DesRochers false allegations.. The landmark case has resulted in chatrooms and similar forums disappearing at a rapid rate, with both the hosting company and website owner having to pay huge damages along with the person doing the posting.The defendants in this action not only had to pay substantial damages, they were also ordered to pay costs which exceeded $400,000.00 as in the United Kingdom the losing party pays costs. Through their own wilful, cruel and vile actions the DesRochers will end up on the wrong end of a lawsuit they cannot defend against, of which we will be able to collect on as if that judgement was obtained at their own local Court House

As to the DesRochers, we shall be asking the Court to reserve jurisdiction over them, again enforceable in the Canadian Courts if these false allegations pop up again. Simply put, they will end up losing their businesses and bankrupting themselves though their own actions. It is well known this is not the first time they have conducted themselves in such a way on the Internet, using malicious postings to ‘resolve’ disputes as Rose DesRochers has been banned from other websites for her unethical postings.
As to my operating a scam the text below it what appears at our Website and goes out each week at the end of our Newsletter.

Also insist that your books ISBN number is issued to you and your books imprint page reflects you as being the publisher.

I haven't read all the preceding messages so I'm a bit confused about who everyone is but I do want to post my own message about Writersworld. They are selling a pirate copy of my grandmother's book, (which I edited) in spite of warning letters from my lawyer. They have no rights in it whatsoever. It is a horrible tacky production. I originally paid them to set it up as a POD book, then was so horrified by the finished product that I asked them not to sell it. Since then I have seen many many second hand copies for sale alongside the new, (these must have been sold by them originally) - but I have of course never seen a penny from it and I am very embarrassed to have my name and my grandmother's name on something so tacky. The book has since been published under a different name but this one remains on amazon.com and many other web sites. (No doubt draining sales from the authorised editions). I would advise any other writers to avoid this company like the plague. Graham Cook, the 'managing director' tells sob stories about his own life to win customers confidence, so beware this tactic. I was told a great many tragic tales, and naively wished to help him. Philippa.

Dear Rose DesRochers, I am an Illustrator and Cover Designer. Like you, I am also unpaid for work I have done for Writersworld and Graham Cook. Graham has since offered to pay me what he owed me upfront (I have withheld the work done to date), I insisted if he paid 'me' upfront that I would like to know who had edited the books that I had worked on so that I could check that 'they' were also to be paid, this was unacceptable to him. I am now sitting (not literaly) on £800 of book covers that I can't use. I know exactly how you must feel! All the contractors (editors, cover designers, account manager etc) are in the same boat. I don't think we should be squabbling about who told who what. I would particularly like to address the 'charge' against the Writersworld account manager. In my opinion she did all she could to get us (the contractors) our money and to get paid herself. She had no control over the money matters and was as taken in as we all were by Grahams constant promises and supposed good intentions. Also Graham has been shown to be unpredictable, intimidating and made threats to different contractors and even authors - surely you can see that there is a real fear of reprisals. It is very easy to criticise when you're a long way from the situation. I feel it was an honest mistake that she failed to inform you of her withdrawl from the company, I was told immediately as where all the editors and other illustrators who then followed suit in withdrawing from the operations of the company and informing all the authors. Our e-mail accounts where subsequently suspended as soon as Graham new what was happening. I would like to see her name removed from your 'warning' list ASAP. I sincerely hope you will agree with me. Duncan Banford is not owed one single penny by my company for one single book finished book cover he produced albeit he ignored my e-mail to him offering as a act of Good Faith offering to pay him for incomplete covers not being aware he was working hand in hand with Mrs Shahida Rahman on her publishing endeavours.

What he omits to point out in his false and defamatory e-mail is that is that he not only did design work on Mrs Shahida Rahman's plagiarised website he also designs book covers for her and lest their be any doubt over this his name is on the plagiarised version of our website run by Mrs Shahida Rahman.

He may be duplicitous in this e-mail to you but he is not being very smart because as the posting to your website was only made today and the DesRochers were also only copied today with that posting it only goes to further prove the direct contact that there was but is in fact still is.

As to his protestations as to "poor innocent" Mrs Shahida Rahman I suggest he study www.ourdotcom.co.uk in more detail as she left a paper trail a mile long as to when she started on her publishing career using a plagiarised version of our website copying and pasting our keywords and using a computer belonging to us that she refused to return to us which is going to make a very interesting point of law when we go to trial against Mrs Shahida Rahman.
