CMG Scam

This is a warning to any person who might be considering joining Coastal Vacations under the Coastal Masters Group (CMG for short) run by Jim and Vickie Stevens.

CMG promises to "Close Your Sales" when you purchase leads and enter them into the system. Their "professional closers" supposedly make outbound calls to your leads and sell them either a package or the opportunity to have CMG work for them.

Why would CMG do this, you ask? Did you really expect something for nothing? No, of course not - I paid CMG $1,000 to join their center and the motivation for the "professional closers" to make the calls is a hefty chunk of money of each sale they make. In essence, they are supposedly using your advertising dollars as leverage to make money for both you and CMG.

My problem? In the 9 months that I have been with CMG I have purchased over 200 leads ($500 total) and no one is calling them. I have leads that were entered in January of this year that have yet to be called! Their entire premise is BS - they don't call anyone and they aren't closing sales and all they did was take my money for nothing. I can prove it, too: I saved a copy of my backoffice stats showing the lack of activity.

Btw, I did address this with Jim Stevens and gave him the chance to make good. That was almost two months ago, and still no calls.

They are in the middle of creating a new marketing blitz promoting their particular line of crap, about how they do all the work and bring in sales for those who don't like to sell. I want to make sure the word about their scam gets out so they don't screw anyone else.
