Lightbulb Canadian Homeworkers Review

Dear Inquirers,

Before I share my experience with the company Canadian Homeworker Review and for those of you confused and questioning whether or not this business is legitimate, perhaps the question to ask is whether or not this company is good and honest, trustworthy and that you can benefit from. This company may be able to work a way to have and maintain a "legitimate" business status (or for for a while until they shut down and start up under a new name) but something that is good and true does not come in the form of something convoluted, inconsistent, and confusing... And from my experience with this company everything from the get-go has been just that:

1) I have heard of this company under several different names: Top Job Review, Canadian Homworker's Review, and Canadian Home Source.
2)I too searched 411.ca to search the address of this company which has a mailbox with UPS in Montreal, Quebec (nothing suspicious here). After sending a message to the Manager, Chris, his sounded at that UPS location asking for information about this company, said things like I must remain neutral and told me that he could not comment on this company's business practice and that I would have to search that out for myself but said that the comapny was indeed a client with UPS.
3) On The Canadian Homeworker Review website it is stated that the company is registered with Ontario Consumer and Commercial Relations not saying anything about was this entity is exactly. So I searched the internet for Ontario Consumer and Commercial Relations and found absolutely no results for this.
4)After these searches I had no interest at all in pursuing this company, but I still continue to receive weekly promotional emails from them and I cannot unsubscribe. They provide an "unsubscribe" link which cannot be accessed. I also tried to send a reply email a couple of times and never heard from anyone. None of their emails that I received included a person's name.
5) In this chat forum people have also been quoted different prices for the company database.
6) This past week I received a letter from a company by the name of Mate Jewellery about a work-from-home job. My first thought was how did this company get my name and address and know I have searched out a work-from-home job. In the letter I received, this company offered a work-from-job making bracelets including a start-up cost of "only" $79.90 to begin making the potential earning of $570.00 per week. I called 411 to get the phone number for this company Mate Jewellry and there was no listing; I also gave the operator the address that appeared on the envelope. The operator said he could search the address but not the unit number, and at that address was a company by the name of Fancy Diamonds Jewellry. I tried calling this company to see if they knew anything about Mate Jewellry and their mailbox was full so I couldn't reach anyone. Then I received this email from Canadian Homeworker Review today: info@topjobreview.com:

"March 19, 2007.

This email is extremely urgent so please
read all of it now.

I would feel terrible if you missed out on
this because you did not get my email in
time.

Here is the news,

I just got a call from Andrew Sullivan he
said there were only 27 positions at his
company still left.

Andrew is the Founder of Mate Jewellery, and
is responsible for hundreds of people across
Canada getting paid to work at home.

Andrew’s company has people living right
across Canada who make bracelets for his
company.

Chances are, as you read this, a few of
those 27 positions are already gone.

http://www.MateJewellery.com/ to make up to
$570 weekly.

You will be thankful you did.
But, you need to really hurry.

All the best,

P.S. Chances are, as you read this letter,
most of those 27 jobs are already gone.
Click here before you miss out.

any future mailings including our "Home Job
Tips" newsletter that shares tons of advice
and recommendations on work at home
opportunities. As well, you will not be

I believe that the people behind this whole occupation are being deceptive and I hope they come to see the bad that they are doing to their fellowman and to themselves, for we indeed reap what we sow.

God Bless.

Angry Re: Canadian Homeworker Review

I paid for this book also, $39.95 and 7 weeks later i got it. Everything in it requires a "Security Deposit" with the companies listed with more promised later. This company has so many names i was getting confused. I did apply with "Super Savers" after sending them $34.95, i have been stealing a great number of coupons from my local grocery stores and sending them all to this company, i pay the postage, i have yet to receive because i need to earn $50. before they will cut me a cheque, yet i have sent over a thousand bucks in coupons back to them.
But my biggest problem with Canadian Homeworker is all the scam emails i have been getting from China, the U.K. and just about every other country in this world, never got these before until i signed up with Canadian Homeworker Review, which by the way was advertised in my paper as Top Job Review. They now talk about a chat/forum for there members, i can just imagine what will be said there!!! As far as there money back policy goes, after you read there final policy, it will surely bring a tear to your eyes.

Both $$$ amounts above for work that i applied for, i actaully had to borrow from friends & family, because i fell for there get good $$$ promise. Now i am about to sell my house just to pay my debts off, you would think at my age i would know better. So that old saying still holds true, "if its sounds to good to be true... THEN IT'S A SCAM".

Re: Mate Jewellery

I was scammed by Mate Jewellery. I paid $79.90 and I did receive a package, but it was not at all what they promised me on their web page. I received a bubble envelope with enough material to make 5 bracelets. I did not receive the sample bracelet they promised me. Also in this package was their refund policy. It states in bold letters and underlined, that they do not give refunds. No exceptions and not to mail back your starter kit as they will not refund your money. The instructions are impossible to figure out. They are hand drawn with circles and squares indicating the beads and it's all just black, no color pics. of the material, no color pic. of the finished product. Their Free Bonus Gift they give you for signing up before a certain date is a 1 page yellow piece of paper that says "The top 10 ways to have a lot more time in your personal life and it lists the 10.
If you want to order your 30 bracelets then you have to send them another $60.00 plus $4.25 shipping/handling. Also they have the right to refuse your 30 bracelets if they feel the work is sloppy and not good enough. So essentially you could be out another $64.25 as it is up to their discression.
You can however send them the 5 finished bracelets you did and have them inspect them first before you order your box of 30. But of course you have to mail in $7.00 for the inspection fee along with the 5 bracelets you made. So you paid them $79.90 plus $7.00 and given them back 5 finished bracelets. You still haven't been paid a cent. Now you have to pay them another $60.00 for your box of material to make 30 bracelets.
I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and I am going to pursue finding out if I can have the authorities go after them.
If you receive anything from this company DO NOT fall for it and pay them anything, it is a huge scam.

Hello at Scamfraudalert;
Yesterday i received an envelop from Canadian home job Review about a list of all the companies in Canada that need people to work at home for them. So ,i read all of the litterature and found it ok; but i had a last question for them before sending my check and i couldn't find it on their webpage. So i called the operator in Ottawa to see if i could get a number from her. The operator had no record of this company. So i went back to the net and entered ( Canadian Home Job review ) and the web page that appeared was jaw dropping. It was in the list of fraudulant scams.

I was one of the lucky people who escaped their scam in the nick of time. there are other people who don't have the resources that i have and get taken for a ride.

This just makes my blood boil and i hope that these scammers get caught.
