Our company, an accredited escrow company, acts as a third party to protect the Buyer and Seller. How Buyers are protected? We track the shipped merchandise and verify that it was delivered. The Seller isn't paid until the Buyer accepts the merchandise, or the inspection period expired. How Sellers are protected? We confirm when the Buyer receives the merchandise. The Seller is authorized to ship only after we verify good funds.

Both parties agree to the terms of the transaction, which includes a description of the merchandise, sale price, number of days for the buyer's inspection and any shipping information
The buyer pays TradeMe Escrow the purchase price of the goods. TradeMe Escrow holds this money in a secure Trust account
The seller is instructed to ship the goods using an approved courier and to record the tracking number so we know they have been shipped
The buyer receives, signs for and inspects the goods - making sure they match what they purchased
TradeMe Escrow pays the seller - transaction completed
