I also got the Mailer Profits flyer in the mail. I did a little digging and found some info. Looking on the Better Business Breaeu site, Mailer Profits Inc. seams to be linked to 12 other work at home companys in the Miami area. All have either unsatisfactory raitings or have not responded to inquirys from the Better Business Breaeu. All the ones with info say that for a $48 fee they offer $2 per enevelope. What they send you (if you recive anything) is flyers that you are tod to post around your area using your own address as the contact address and forward the replies to the company. All seem to be linked to the Diaz family in some way. Here is the list of companys and some info on them: Mailer Profits Inc. 16275 SW 88th St. PMB 302, Miami FL 33196 P.O. According to our files the company has refused to provide this list of 10 consumers, substantiate or modify its earning claims. Crafts Exchange 14629 SW 104th St. PMB 360, Miami FL 33194 P.O. Box 940490, Miami FL 33194 (786)275-8760 (786)275-8761 Zenaida Diaz, President The company's address is a mail drop, not a physical location. Well, that was a long one. If you get anything from these companys DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY. If you have had dealings with them and it went sour, contact the BBB or FTC. Also here is a statment that the BBB puts on all its work at home pages: "Every day, ads for work-at-home jobs appear in newspapers across the country as well as on the Internet. Some of the offers include stuffing envelopes, assembling products, reading books, reviewing movies, medical transcriptions or selling advertising on the Internet. The Better Business Bureau suggests extreme caution when responding to any such offer. While ads claim high earnings and short hours with little or no experience, the Bureau files nationwide indicate no evidence of anyone making the promised money. Rarely, if ever, are these ads an offer of legitimate employment. Generally, these jobs require up-front fees for information or supplies, and only the person who ran the ad makes any money. You should be aware that US Postal Inspectors regularly investigate these fraudulent schemes, and that you risk investigation and possible prosecution by postal or other law enforcement agencies if you become involved in one of these schemes." PS: If it sounds to good to be true, It probibily is.

I was dumb enough to order this program. When you order they send you a packet in the mail, it took about 10 days to recieve the packet. With the packet you recieve, Work at home posters, that they want you to place all over town, at supermarkets, on telephone poles, laundromats etc.. They tell you to check your flyers every week to make sure nobody tears them down. These posters have your name and address written on tear off pieces from the flyer. The prospects are supposed to send you a self addressed stamped envelope then you are supposed to forward those envelopes to the company every Friday in bulks of 100, 200 however may you have, and then they are to pay you for the envelopes you send them. They are then supposed to send these people an advertisement on how to make money at home by assembling all kinds of crafts this will cost the prospect $29. If the prospect orders they will be sent a 26 page booklet on information on how they can sign up (for a fee) for different companies that will pay them to assemble their products, most of the companies require you to buy your own supplies and they pay you a fee for how ever many you assemble. I don't know if they will pay you for the envelopes that you send them. I did not post any flyers or send in any envelopes so I can't say if this will work or not but I cannot imagine me getting 100 or more names every week. The bottom line is anyone who orders from this company is actually doing their marketing for them. I guess if your are good at marketing you could be succesfull but who knows if they will just take your envelopes and send out their marketing materials. I don't know. Hope this helps http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?t=2721
