I also feel like we were defrauded. My husband ordered the CD from Auction monster to get some better ideas on how to sell on E-bay. And of course he did not see the very small print that his charge will be charged $59.95 on the 11th day after he signed up and $16.95 on the 16th day. Well here it is the 17th day when I saw the charge of $59.95 hit the account and the other charge is pending. I called the number we have 800-609-5118 to no avail they were very kurt and said that we checked the box that we agreed to pay for it. They will cancel the account so no other charges will hit my account but they will not credit me. I have called a few times today and they keep telling me that a superviser is not available. To make matters worse we did to even receive this CD until the 9th day. So I cancelled the account and I will keep trying to get a supervisor to credit my account the $79.80. I honestly think we are out of luck and a big lesson was learned.  |

I was finally able to get through to a superviser (Tabitha)and they at first adamanelty refused to refund the money because I did not call within 3 days of the charged amount posted. And she was insulted my husband stating that he was an adult and should be resonsible for his actions. Alot more was said and I told her that I going to reprt them to the the BBB and the department of justice and she still refused then I lost the power at work and the call got disconnected. So I called back and spoke to the supervisor (Tabitha) again and she stated before I rudely hung up her she was going to tell me that as a courtesy they refunded the money. It will take 10-12 bussiness to reflect on my account. |
