Hi All, I almost bought into Ameriplan out of Plano, TX. They offer a discount for Rx (prescriptions), Dental, Vision, and Chiropratic. However, what they don't tell you is after you send in the Dr. information, they try to sell the Dr. on the idea. I was supposed to be contacted by the Sales Person who handled my area, never heard from a soul. So then I called the State of Ohio Dept. of Insurance. My contact there informed me they are in a huge investigation of these companies. They offer discounts of "up to 60-80%" on the above listed services. They also offer one on Medical services, for an additional fee of course. The person who buys the promotion pays about $ 20-30.00 per month to cover the whole family. No one gets those high discounts. Per the Dept. of Insurance in Ohio you have to have a License to sell Insurance. The way they are getting around no license is they call you a "broker" not an "agent." Oh, they also state on their brochures that "this is NOT Insurance!" But they are still stealing money from people and not giving them anything! Check with your Dept. of Insurance for your state. They will be happy to give you the correct information. This is ANOTHER company that once they have access to your credit card or checking account, you really have to fight to get it stopped! These companies go by several names, there is even one calling themselves Nationwide, leading people to believe that they are getting this via Nationwide Insurance. Not true! NO Connection |

The MLM company behind Ameriplan marketing is non other than Networx Online. They are the same folks who claim to be the hosting company for The Online Business Systems or Online Business System. Innocent...yeah RIGHT. http://networxonline.com/samples.html http://www.simpleasabc.com/ READ ALL ABOUT THE ONLINE BUSINESS SYSTEMS http://www.scamfraudalert.com/showthread.php?t=657 (The Online Home Business Systems (Herbalife)) Quote:

Category: On-Line Business Submitted: 3/23/2006 10:00:59 PM Modified: 4/1/2006 10:14:02 PM Ameriplan USA A promise of insurance care, the way to make a living work at home business, I canceled in due time and no refund iboplus.com Plano Texas *Consumer Comment ..Response Company Ameriplan USA Address: 5700 Democracy Drive,Plano TX 75024 -7124PH# 1-469-229-4500 Fax#1-469-229-4595 Plano Texas 75024 U.S.A. Phone Number: 469-229-4500 Fax: I was searching for a home based business and medical & dental care. I joined as a broker and was automaticly a member after they received my money. After looking through the program I realized the company was not an honest one. I canceled both as a broker in the due time allowed and as a member as I did not believe this would be of any help to me. I never received a refund. This was in July of 2005. I believe this is a bogus selling tactic to sell software and then the company cannot be reached when the broker or member are dissatisfied. I have a phone number of 1-800-550-9726 that I was given when I tried to cancel and get a refund. This is the Bank I Credit Card Services dept. I also have copies of communication via e-mails. I was distrought and now more concerned that many others are losing money as well. I just want to join in any class action suit or court events that may have to take place to receive a refund and justice. I totally disagree, I have used Ameri plan USA discount benefits and have saved more than the advertised discounts at times. To the persons who have not actually joined or used the benifits I strongly suggest you not preach about something you know nothing about. |

Happy to hear 1 person is getting something for their money! However, if you will check with your State Department of Insurance, you will probably find out that they are under investigation and will eventually be shut down. The majority of people DON'T get anything for the monthly fee as far as benefits, and don't get the big discount advertised. For those of us who signed on to become brokers, we lost money due to them messing in our bank accounts. No honest legitimate company has a problem backing up their promises, having a way to contact them and etc. |
