Employer NewsWire (Morris Paulman)

Have anyone heard of the company Employer NewsWire? The site is new and they claim they have job opening that pay $25/hr. for you to moderate their site.

Employer NewsWire

Here is the standard letter everyone is getting. Someone please help me. This sounds too good to be true.

Hello,

I manage a company that runs various websites and posting boards. I recently viewed your resume online and feel you may be qualified as a moderator for our newest posting site (To be launched October 1, 2005). We are looking for 15 moderators from various walks of life, which would bring a broad prospective to our forum.

The site is called www.employernewswire.com and is designed for employees to post comments about working conditions at their companies. You may view the site at www.employernewswire.com (currently in it's beta form), but to apply for the position you should click the link at the bottom of the page and use the online application. Do Not attempt to apply through the actual forum.

The moderator position is a part time position. As a moderator you would log in and view new posts to the site. Your responsibility would be to make sure all new posts meet the guidelines of the posting board. These guidelines include but are not limited to:

• No Flaming
• No Commercial Solicitations
• No indecent language

We do not limit free speech, nor do we try to influence the content of discussions on our site, however we want to make sure that all members are following proper posting rules and etiquette. As a moderator your job would be to remove any commercial links, delete blatant violations, ban repeat offenders and warn members that may be committing minor infractions.

In addition as a moderator you are free to make comments about posts, but we discourage our moderators from starting threads.

We pay moderators $25/hr. Your time is tracked by our login function. You are able to work from any computer and at any time. You are limited to 20 hours per week initially, but after 60 – 90 days we may increase your approved hours to 40 per week.

To apply for the position, please go to the address below and I will be in touch with you after reviewing your application.

Sincerely,
Morris Paulman,
The Pres!

Hey all, I have read the comments on www.employernewswire.com and was disappionted that they have deleted most. I must conclude that this group is a scam and I would stay away from them. Eventually, they will be caught.
