I RECEIVED A LETTER IN THE MAIL FROM THIS GROUP SAYING HOW RICH THEY CAN MAKE IF I PURCHASE A 553-PAGE BOOK FROM THEM WHICH I FOOLISHLY DID ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT IT WAS ONLY A SCAM. I WAS SO SILLY TO BELIVE SUCH A STORY I HOPE NO ONE ELSE WILL MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID IF ONLY THERE WAS SOME WAY TO GET BACK MY MONEY £84.

I just found out that i paid the nouva tech society 84 pounds for a dream that will not ever come true. they prey on the volnurable and weak they need to be stoped for good.

Grand Rapids, MI - October 19, 2005 - The BBB of Western Michigan has been alerted by a number of consumers about the receipt of a questionable mailing being sent by a company called The Nouveau Tech Society using a mailing address of: PO Box 5204, Clifton, NJ, 07015-5204, with a fax of: (716) 447- 7488.

What is questionable about this mailing? It is 8-pages of typewriter-seeming print that uses high pressure language to gain your attention, and to try to get you to respond to a "free" offer of "secrets" (a 56-page mailing) as to how you can gain success in whatever you do personally as well as professionally.

The letter begins with a very strange request: "Please keep what I tell you secret, because this information is confidential. These words are meant for you only." The tone in this randomly sent letter gains greater lack of credibility when it states that you, the lucky recipient of this letter, have had your "profile" analyzed---(People receiving this mailing are receiving it randomly, so this is very hard to believe!) It goes onto mention "your unique traits," that you "possess very special and rare traits." (Hard to believe!) It also gives you a certain amount of time to respond to the mailing or you will never "be given this invitation again."

What is the profile on this company? This company, which has been a member of the BBB of Southern Nevada (company is headquartered in Henderson, NV) since May of 1992 currently has its report in update at that bureau and its membership is under review for this questionable offer.

Here is the description from the BBB of Central Ohio's report on the company (the Nevada company uses a direct mail service in Grove City, OH to send the mailings):

Integrated Management Associates is a Nevada-based corporation doing business as Neo-Tech Publishing Company and The Nouveau Tech Society, with corporate offices in Henderson, Nevada. The publishing company sells business and self-improvement literature to consumers through the mail. The company's direct mail campaigns, order processing and product fulfillment solutions are handled by Client Logic's offices. Client Logic's Clifton, New Jersey, location, handles all order processing, so anyone receiving the company's solicitations would reply to a Clifton, NJ address. Client Logic's Grove City, Ohio plant handles mailing of all direct mail literature and all products, so when a customer receives a product, the return address on the product is Grove City, Ohio. Client Logic's West Virginia office handles in- bound customer service calls, and would direct customers calling about how to return products to return the products to Grove City, Ohio, where returns are also handled.

Complaints regarding this company concern advertising issues, selling practices, and refund promises. All complaints brought to this company's attention have been resolved but the ad appears misleading. TIPS:

We call foul on this form of selling, which we find to be deceptive and misleading, and wish to warn those who receive it to question it yourselves before entering into any agreement to receive the free booklet from this company. The letter does not give any form of contact other than an address and fax number with which to share concerns or to be taken off their mailing list. No web site, no phone number, no email address.

I got the same letter today and they are from Delaware, I will admit I was actually thinking about sending the stupid membership thing back but decided to look them up on Google. I found about 20 websites all with the same letter and they were all saying it was scam...

I am so glad that I didn't get completely ****ered in...
