Just one word about the business-in-a-box.
Don't
I paid either $147 or more many months ago. It's gathering dust
because I have yet to figure out what's going on.
He does have a good program for adding the necessary legalize to Web sites
for less than $100. (I think that $97 is the price)
And remember, if you put up a Web site of any type you must have the legalize or you can place yourself in a bad situation.
I don't remember the exact details about the business-in-a-box, but I bought it though an affiliate, and when I decided to ask for a refund, I was never able to re-create that route.
Point: When buying something with a guarantee, except maybe through Clickbank, ALWAYS purchase through the product owner. My policy now is to call the owner and see if #1 they answer the phone and #2 test the support out. If I can't contact support by phone, I think long and hard before buying.
While I'm writing, because I seldom do, let me warn everyone about two other things.
First: Membership programs. Make sure you know who you are dealing with. Several I've joined were rip offs. Plus, I've had problems getting the monthly charges stopped.
I've found that if you join through Paypal, you can go into your Paypal account and withdraw from these membership programs.
If you are into Internet marketing, I know of only one I would recommend. But remember I don't know everything after spending over 4,000 hours trying to make on the Internet.
Second: Make sure you personally know who you are giving your credit card or debit card number to! I've changed bank accounts four times in the last 18 months to stop people from charging me after I've asked them to.
I've been ripped so many times I'm embarrassed to admit it.
The only solution I've found is to talk to someone in the support department for the vendor, or to the vendor personally ON THE PHONE. If I can't, I no longer buy.
My theory is that if the vendor is not astute enough to have a support person(s) or does not answer the phone themselves, they must become astute enough before I will do business with them.
Side note: Don't buy anything that you are emotional about until at least the next day. Good copywriters can whip you into a buying frenzy. Buy with your brain and not your heart. Make no assumptions about what you are buying. And, only buy from the owner, not an affiliate, and only then if you can contact them by phone.
Bottom line.
I've wasted thousands of dollars and thousands of hours fooling with no good, over priced junk products and people who are not very knowledgeable. If you use this stuff, you usually waste your time and and find yourself with no-good information overload, running around in circles and getting nowhere.
In my opinion, 90% of information and products offered to help you make in an Internet business is no good.
My problem was learning who to learn from and who had products that were worth buying. And, I still don't know all I should.
A final conclusion:
First..There is no way for the average person to "get rich" near term.
Second...If you were not a good student in school, you will have a hard time learning how to make on the Internet because it's a matter of study, study and more study.
There are millions of words to read, comprehend and remember before you can begin to get to where you dream of going. Plus several hundreds of dollars, minimum, even if you knew exactly who to deal with.
My solution:
Finally, I have found a legitimate business I can do from home and it cost me only $25 to get started. There are short term profits and substantial long term earnings potential. Plus, it's the most simple thing I've ever seen.
Even a teenager can do this and do it well.
I've become extremely dubious about these things, but I have found nothing about this to be dubious about.
I'm not going to post it here, but anyone who wants to know what I've found can email me at bizdoc@earthlink.net
Wishing you a healthy, wealthy and successful 2006.
May God bless you and yours,
The Biz Doc
