CountryWide Sale - BofA Win The sale of CountryWide Financials to Bank of America is in way a surprise to us given the current supply of money. Our opinion is this, BofA purchased a set of assets at a unbelievable bargain price. Our guess is that everyone in the financial world would have love to get the assets of Countrywide. We still believe that CountryWide Financial is a sound entity. If CountryWide was not sound, Bank of America would not have gone ahead with the deal.
