We received a letter from Plus Financial informing us that we won a vacation sweepstakes prize of $20,000 and a cruise. We also received a check for payment of the 'taxes' on the prize in the amount of $2,976.40. We are supposed to deposit the check in our account then pay the taxes in order to claim the prize.

When checking out the company on the internet, we found that the North American Vacationers Sweepstakes/Lottery Program has been operating under the name of Kingsway Financial Services. The complaints about Kingsway Financial Services were from California. I guess they are moving to the other coast now.

Beware. You don't win sweepstakes/lotteries you don't enter!!!!!!!
