The Bureau has received correspondence from Sweepstakes Information Reporting Service that states:

“We have several different promotional mailings. Each promotion is a two-part program. The first part guarantees recipient is entitled to claim a cash award and upon proper response, will receive a cashable check from SIRS of $1,000, $500, $250, $100 or $1. There is no purchase required to claim this cash.

The second part of each promotion invites recipient to purchase one of our sweepstakes reports. Each report lists available sweepstakes and contests conducted by numerous other, individual sponsors, instruction on how to enter, end dates, etc. with prizes totaling the advertised amount. SIRS does not sponsor these sweepstakes nor do we award any of the prizes. The report must be purchased if the consumer wishes to receive the information but purchase is not required to claim the cash check from SIRS.

Our Refund policy is 100% no questions asked. The consumer simply needs to write to us and we will be happy to provide a full refund.�
