We are seeking a leader to oversee our Website Integrity & Anti-Scam team who will develop and operate scam & fraud prevention, investigation, and analysis processes. This leader will be responsible for defining and deploying ecommerce scam & fraud prevention techniques and systems to ensure a delightful user experience for both our employer and jobseeker customers and patrons. The position combines technological, analytical, and investigative roles, and is perfect for a seasoned analytically-focused and technologically literate person with the right background looking for a new challenge and step up in responsibility.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Managing compliance with CareerBuilder.com's terms & conditions and other policies to eliminate fraudulent activity and and potential misuse of company assets.
  
• Ensuring customer (employer & jobseeker) security and user experience by preventing fraudulent use of CareerBuilder.com's services and illegal/illegitimate/scam employer job postings & invalid jobseeker applications.
  
• Develop sophisticated tools and systems to evaluate risk factors of "start-up" customer purchases outside of typical financial systems (D&B, credit checks, etc).
  
• Work with contacts in major ISP's and law enforcement to immediately shut-down fraudulent activity.
  
• Ensure ongoing protection of CareerBuilder.com's resume database from unauthorized access.
  
• Implement timely, relevant, and effective communication mechanisms to alert of new and emerging scams and alerts (IE: phishing and other web-based scams).
  
• Determine appropriate metrics to monitor scam, phishing fraud and detection systems to protect the assets of CareerBuilder.com
  
• Strong evaluations of possible fraud dealing with complex cases and sensitive issues.
  
• Recommend necessary systems tools and software technology and methodology.

Requirements

Extensive prior experience with fraudulent analysis or prevention systems and policies
Experience with a top 100 website in a similar capacity HIGHLY desired.
Anti-fraud / anti-scam / anti-phishing capacity.
Must be EXTREMELY tech-savvy and familliar with modern phishing & fraud scam techniques.

BA/BS REQUIRED.

Possess strong analytical, investigative, and decision-making skills.
Detail oriented, problem solver personality
Strong writing, facilitating and negotiating skills

Desired:
MS in analytical, mathematical, or computational field a plus
JD a strong plus.

Strong, relevant background in IT Security, Law Enforcement, Legal or related field.
