I am not sure why you feel I'm mad at the world. I am trying to broaden the debate on whether MLMs are a viable business model. From my investigation I have come to the conclusion that they are scams perpetrated by very unscrupulous people. I also feel good people get hurt by this. It causes unnecessary financial, emotional, and relationship problems. You say see it 'your' way, I don't want you to see it any other way than the way it is.

It is like any social ill, gambling, alcoholism or drug abuse. I believe these things all cost society more than money. So maybe you think I'm on a crusade, who knows maybe you're right.

I have friends involved in MLM and it is not going well and I feel it is going to get worse. I had a brother in law who had a gambling problem that had a devestating impact on his and our lives. I have family members who struggle with alcoholism.

We can all agree that thre is plenty of knowledge and information on the ill's I mentioned above. I am not saying MLM is the same but I am finding that their is not much knowledge or information about this "business" model out there. Virtually all the posts I read by proMLMers are based on emotion and not fact, that does concern me. If people make a rational not emotional choice to join an MLM where the industry wide failure rate for members is >99%, I say go for it. I don't think that's what is happening.

Not that it matters but I work in a profession I enjoy.

I hope people will go to the links I posted earlier and at least see what they say. Agree or disagree with it that's each person's call.
