Re: Liberty League International

Gee Thanks, Skeptic Al, for "grouping" me in the 'Earn $$$, Do Nothing' gang. Gosh, I really appreciate that especially since you know nothing about me and are only "reading into" what you think I mean by my last post. Sorry to inform you but I know ANY business...MLM or Regular businesses require WORK! No doubt you will have to WORK your butt off to make it! I've owned both kinds and no doubt have gray hairs from them!! I don't have my "regular" business anymore due to DOD contract cutbacks and dealing with a 30 employee nightmare but I have kept my direct sales business that I've had for 3 years and I enjoy it.
I've been in my Aviation career (a normal JOB) for 17 years, gone far in upper education and training, I have had great success and made a name for myself even. However, my position, although great in responsibility for the flying general public, makes absolutly crap pay for what we do. I work 60 hours a week (to make ends meet) on my Graveyard shift, So, on my days off I like to enjoy extra money from my business. Yep, have recruits that LOVE the business more than me and do WAY better than me but I'll tell you what...when I'm sleeping (during the day) and they are working I make a bit of the pie. My business is a bit slow because of my sleep schedule and I still make money. So why don't I just do my business more (well it's certainly not because of work)... because it is Soo far different (product wise) than the Fun I have with Large Aircraft I will Never Own!! I just like both!
A friend introduced me to Liberty League and I was looking them up when I happened upon this thread link. If it's working for people, then Great, their choice, all the best to them. It's not my kind of gig to get involved with. Too difficult, too expensive for the "average joe", not sure of the market for the product, these are all my own thoughts on it.
So, ok, scams you say. Pyramid schemes..person at top makes all the money. "Illegal," everyone says. But...A normal J.O.B. is a pyramid. My lead makes more than me, the supervisors make more than the lead, upper mgmt makes more than the sup's, all the way to the CEO/President that makes more than all of us. I can't "buy-in" to the supervisor level either, I have to start as the "pion" and scratch my way to the top. And the top may take many many years and if he retires or dies AND if I'm positioned next in line. Many factors to get that pinnacle spot. So do we all work an "Illegal scheme"?? What about Direct Sales?? Still has recruiting involved yet I'm doing no more than what normal businesses do too. I patent product. I want to get the product out to many people. I sell my product for a fraction to some buyers and they in turn sell the product for another price to gain a profit. I make money on them buying the product from me. The people that bought from me are the recruits.
In my direct sales business, I don't hype what I make, I give a lot more information up front about time, how much they will spend and tips to do it an easier way (not make my mistakes) and really the CHOICE is THEIRS to make. I Choose to do my business that way. I think A LOT of people (maybe not you Skeptic Al) were promised the Pie in the Sky and you'll make millions by doing nothing and people DO buy into that because it sounds great. I got into my business by research, fully knowing it's a business! I lost money the first year, broke even the second and now turn a profit every month by A LOT. I had to bust my butt but it's worth it now!! I guess I'm living by the saying "If you will do for the next 2 years what most people won't, you will live the rest of your life the way most people can't!"
By the way, the "extra" money I make in my business goes to my flying passion and taking needy, ill children to doctors appointments in other towns where they couldn't get without our help. It is a very recognizable charity group. So, Skeptic Al, Not all people are "greedy," some just want to use their money for helping others.
